The XII Italian GRASS users and GFOSS meeting

The XII Italian GRASS users and GFOSS will be held in Trento (Faculty of Sociology, via Verdi 26) February 9-11 2011.

The purpose of the meeting is two-fold: the exchange of experiences between GRASS users and the possibility for the potential users to access first-hand information and GRASS capability demonstration, meeting developers and experienced users.

On February the 9th, introductory workshops to the main GFOSS systems will be offered. On the same day the results of the
Progetto di Ricerca di Interesse Nazionale (PRIN) 2007 "Interoperability and cooperative management of geographic, dynamic, multidimentional and distributed data with Free and Open Source GIS" will be presented.

The meeting is organised by the Dipartimento di Ingegneria Civile e Ambientale of the Trento University with the support of  MIUR (Progetto PRIN 2007 "Interoperabilità e gestione cooperativa di dati geografici dinamici multidimensionali e distribuiti con strumenti GIS liberi e Open Source").
