How to reach Trento

By plane

Verona Catullo Airport (Suggested Airport)
If you plan to reach Trento by plane, we suggest you to chose Verona Catullo Airport.
The airport is connected via bus with Verona Train Station (Aerobus every 20 minutes from 6.10 to 23.35).

Venezia Marco Polo
The Marco Polo airport is connected via bus with Mestre Train Station (bus ATVO or ACTV n.15) and with Venezia Santa Lucia Train Station (bus ATVO or ACTV n.5).
From Mestre (or Venezia Santa Lucia) train station you can reach Trento in 3 hours (most travel options require a change in Verona) please check timetable on Trenitalia website Trenitalia.

Venezia – Treviso
The airport is connected to Treviso and Mestre train stations (ACTT or ATVO buses). From Treviso train station you can reach Mestre station (30 minutes) and then Trento in 3 hours (most travel options require a change in Verona) please check timetable on Trenitalia website Trenitalia.

Milano - Orio al Serio
Milano Orio al Serio airport is connected via bus (about 1 hour) to Milano train station: there are two companies providing this service (Orioshuttle and Autostradale). Milano - Malpensa
From Malpensa bus services are available connecting the airport to Milano Central train station. Between the two terminals a free shuttle bus is available every 15 minutes for twenty four hours a day.

You can reach Milan directly from the Terminal 1 by Ferrovie Nord Milano trains or, via Gallarate, by Trenitalia trains. Malpensa Express trains (Ferrovie Nord Milano) connect the Terminal 1 of Malpensa directly to the centre of Milan, (Cadorna Railway Station - connection with the Subway red and green lines). Trains depart every 30 minutes and the journey from the Terminal 1 of Malpensa to Cadorna Station lasts about 40 minutes.

You can reach Milan also by Trenitalia trains departing from Gallarate. A bus service (SA.CO. +39.0331.258411) is available from the Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Malpensa to Gallarate Railway Station.

Milano - Linate
Milano Linate airport is connected via bus (STARFLY +39.02.5858.7237, every day, every 30 minutes from 6.05 am to 11.45 pm, departure from arrival floor) From Milano Central train station you can reach Trento in 3 hours (most travel options require a change in Verona) please check timetable on Trenitalia website Trenitalia.

Rent a car
To reach Trento from these airports it is possible to rent a  chauffeur, if you can travel in small groups (up to 4/8) this may be the best choice. The following service is based in Trento, the web site is in Italian, but for information they answer also in English. Please notice that the service has to be booked in advance and that fares do not include VAT (20%).

By train
Two main lines reach Trento : the Brennero line (connecting to Rome to the south, and Innsbruck and northern Europe to the north) and the Valsugana line to Venice. Timetable details from Trenitalia or Deutsche Bahn.

By car or coach
Trento may be accessed by the following roads: Strada Statale dell'Abetone e del Brennero, Autostrada del Brennero, Superstrada della Valsugana for those coming from Venice, and Strada Statale 45 bis (Gardesana Occidentale), for those coming from Brescia.

Town travel
The town has an efficient urban and extra urban travel system run by Trentino Trasporti SpA. If you visit the office at the main railway station you can pick up a free timetable guide.

How to reach the Faculty of Economics
The Faculty of Economics is situated in the historical centre of Trento, near Piazza Duomo (download the map from the resources 'box). The nearest parking zones are Piazzale Sanseverino and the Lungadige area.
