Venue
To emphasize its multifaceted structure, the ISC2 conference will be hosted in different buildings of the University of Trento.
The opening plenary session of the ISC2 conference will take place in the Auditorium of the Department of Humanities (via Tommaso Gar 14, Trento).
Most of the scientific sessions of the conference as well as the exhibition will take place at the Polo Scientifico e Tecnologico “Fabio Ferrari” (via Sommarive
9, Povo, Trento).
The Polo, designed by architect Ishimoto and located in Povo (a small village on the hills east of Trento 5 km from the center), consists of two buildings, shortly referred
to as Povo 1 and Povo 2.
They host:
- the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science
- the Department of Industrial Engineering
- the CIBIO - Centre for integrative biology
Most of ISC2 events will take place in the premises of Povo 2.
Important information for ISC2 attendees
Wi-Fi access
At registration time, all attendees will receive a University of Trento account visiting for Wi-Fi access. The Wi-Fi connection is available in all the premises of the ISC2 conference. Attendees from academic institutions may also use their own Eduroam account (if already available).

Guided Visit and Welcome Reception at MUSE, Science Museum
On 12 September, immediately after the Opening Session, attendees will have the opportunity to join a guided visit to the MUSE, Science Museum. The Museum is at walking distance (about 12 minutes) from the Department of Humanities.
IMPORTANT: unfortunately, for organizational reasons the visit to MUSE is limited to 140 people only. Please sign up at the registration desk! We apologize for any inconvenience.
In any case, ALL attendees are invited to join the Welcome Reception in the Hall of MUSE at 18.45.
Gala Dinner at Cantine Rotari
The Gala Dinner will take place at the Cantine Rotari in Mezzolombardo (about 20 km from Trento), on 14 September. The coaches to reach the Cantine Rotari will leave at 19.15 from conference shuttle bus stop (via Torre Vanga, 28), please see also the map.
