PREDIS is a strategic partnership in the field of vocational education and training, a three year project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.

We are a consortium of six partners from five countries cooperate to counteract early school leaving of youth.

Erasmus+ supports transnational partnerships between education, training of youth with the aim to foster cooperation as well as link the worlds of education and work as a way of tackling the current skills gap in Europe.

In the EU, 6 million young people between 18 and 24 years do not have a school or vocational training diploma, with negative consequences for their personal and professional lives.

The PREDIS project involves activity in the field, is aimed at teachers / vocational school leaders who want to work for the prevention of school drop out by disadvantaged people, including migrants and Roma.

The project aims to:

  • develop new knowledge, innovative contents and methods that will enable professionals engaged in VET to meet the learning needs of an increasingly diverse society and prevent school failure in disadvantaged groups (migrants etc.);
  • enhance self-reflection on the daily teaching practiceand on the school policy, questioning own stereotypes and prejudice, recognizing discrimination, in order to enhance structural improvement;
  • strengthening of key competencies of trainees;
  • ways of ensuring better transition into the vocational training and to the world of work.
