For the admission to the 2nd year, the following requisites are essential:

• constant participation to the educational activities proposed by the Doctoral Program; mandatory attendance of 80% of the total hours for each course and 15 seminars per year. If the student cannot attend the minimum requested, the Committee can approve with warning the admission to the following year and, if necessary, oblige the student to attend the courses again.
• to obtain a minimum of 60 ECTS credits per year
• to obtain a fulfilling evaluation that the teachers and the tutor have to provide by the end of the first year.

For the admission to the 3rd year, the following requirements are essential:

• constant participation to the educational activities proposed by the Doctoral Programme; mandatory attendance of 80% of the total hours for each course and 15 seminars per year. If the student cannot attend the minimum requested, the Committee can approve with warning the admission to the following year and, if necessary, oblige the student to attend the courses again.
• to obtain a minimum of 60 ECTS credits per year.
• to obtain a fulfilling evaluation which the teachers and the tutor have to provide by the end of the second year.

Based on the above information, the Doctoral Committee suggests one of the following scores:

• Approved: the student can access to the following year.
• Approved with warning: the student may continue but needs a revision of the research project. Further review and evaluation are needed
• Not approved: the student must leave the Programme.

The student who needs a serious revision of the research project based on comments received from both the advisor or tutor is invited to a subsequent discussion in front of the Doctoral Committee and in the presence of the advisor and tutor.
