Course on taxation law
In collaboration with the Internal revenue service and the professional body of accountants of Trento and Rovereto, the Faculty of Law organizes a course on taxation law from November to December 2010.
The aim of the course is to create occasions to discuss taxation law and know more about taxation law issues.
The course will mainly focus on:
- offering a clear explanation of the laws, main sources of tributary law and of the principles that inspire it
- linking theory with practice
- putting notions acquired into practice.

Course
The course lasts 30 hours and will be divided in 3 modules lasting 10 hours each. Eight of these hours will be only for those enrolled and will be held by experts.
The modules will deal with the following isues:
- the fiscal aspects of the fiscal measure
- the taxation dispute and other jurisdictions
- the fulfillment of the taxation obligation
Classes will be divided in modules with two training moments in the classroom lasting four hours and one Dialogue lasting two hours.
Attendance
Participants must attend atleast 80% of lessons held in the classroom. Participants will be asked to sign a register everytime.
Participation in the Dialogue is free. The modules will be held between October and December.
The course will be held at the Faculty of Law in Trento.
A certificate will be issued at the end of the three modules.
Participation in the course will give right to receive credits according to the deliberations of the professional bodies.
Addressees and prerequisites
The course is addressed to graduates (undergraduates, master course graduates) in law and economics, to civil servants and freelancers and aims at offering particpants in-depth informatin about taxation law.
The course is open to a maximum of 30 people.
Criteria for admission
All applications must include name, place and date of birth, citizenship, address, phone number, photocopy of ID card.
A curriculum vitae must also be attached to the application.
Particpants can also include other types of certification regarding past courses or traineeships attended that can be useful for the evaluation.
All the documentation sent with the application will not be given back.
The course management will carry out selections according to the curriculum vitae received.
Participants are effectively members of the course only after paying a fee within the deadline, that will be communicated by the secreatary office once the initial selections have been done. Those who do not pay the fee will be excluded.
Deadlines, fees and scholarships
The enrolment fee amounts to Euro 500,00 (fivehundred/00).
The deadline to send the application form has been postponed to 29th October 2010 at midday (the form will have to be sent to the secretary office of the Faculty of Law of the University of Trento, in via Verdi 53, 38122, Trento or via fax 0461/281865). Applications received after the deadline can be taken into consideration compatibly with the needs and organization of the course.
