The University of Trento still in the highest positions

4th position for the University of Trento in the ranking of middle-sized universities

The University of Trento gained the fourth position among the medium universities, in the ranking drafted by Censis and published by the Italian newspaper “la Repubblica”, with a final score of 94.3, equaling Sassari, after Siena, Ancona and Brescia. The web criterion obtained 105.

As for the individual position of the faculties: 1st position for Law and for Mathematic, physical and natural sciences; 2nd position for Economics, Humanities and Sociology. The Faculty of Cognitive sciences was not evaluated.

From its very foundation, the University has always aimed at the development of strategic alliances, reaching high standard which allowed it to keep the highest positions in the Italian rankings and obtain good results also at international level. The University of Trento is thus capable to offer undergraduate and graduate courses, fostering a wide range of international opportunities, thanks to its over 1,000 grants awarded for mobility reasons every year and a very high-level research activity.

The Faculty of Mathematical, physical and natural sciences (102.3) ranks 1st in the Censis ranking.

The strength points, like last year, were didactics and productivity, the latter obtaining 110/110. Followed by the international relations, which result from the internationalization policy which has always been pursued. Students are encouraged to carry out internships in private businesses, public and private research institutions and spend study periods abroad in foreign universities.
