Access to the University's protected network (VPN)
This service allows users (lecturers and non-academic staff) to access inside resources of the University net in cryptographic modality (for instance, inside post servers, intranet services, shared folders). All traffic, from any network connection is cryptographed (analogic, ISDN, ADSL, wireless) also for those who use connections to outside providers, (MSCHAPv2 cryptography) from the client towards the VPN servers in the University. All connections are logged.
How can I access the VPN service?
According to your operative system you must configure your client and browser to use the University’s proxy. To have access you must supply your University credentials (username and UNITN password). One must respect the rules for University network access.
