Credentials for access to IT services - LDAP

 All users of the University are offered an authentication system based on LDAP Directory Services, thanks to which they can access the computer services that require the use of a username and a password. Services based on the authentication system are:
  • Esse3 for academic staff; 
  • Online didactics system (DOL); 
  • SARA service (service for University remote access); 
  • Library electronic resources  (data banks, periodical, e-books); 
  • My Library; 
  • Thesis; 
  • National and international interlibrary borrowing; 
  • Suggestions for the acquisition of books and periodicals; 
  • University wireless network (wifi UNITN, WILMA Scienze, NoCat Ingegneria); 
  • Polaris; 
  • Access to computer rooms for students; 
  • Access to restricted web areas; 
  • Computer system for research projects (RePO2006)
