Aims:
The ICT International Doctoral School operates within the Dept. of Informatics and Telecommunications. The main ICT objective is to form professionals able to develop innovative, high level, information technology systems, fit to solve complex problems, therefore favouring development in innovative fields which often require knowledge in different areas.
Students’ personal and professional development is encouraged by offering a wide range of academic options, multidisciplinary teaching staff and laboratories: Bioinformatics, Computer Networks and Mobile Systems, Multimedia Communications and Networking, Remote Sensing for the Environment, Software Engineering and Formal Methods, Industrial Diagnostics and Quality Engineering, Information Systems, Knowledge Representation and Management, Distributed Systems and Service-oriented Computing, Electronic Sensors and Microsystems, Embedded systems and Pervasive Computing, Measurement for Quality Engineering, Wireless, Mobile and Satellite Communications, Human Language Technologies, Intelligent Interfaces, Computer vision, Machine Learning, Electronic Commerce, Automated Reasoning, Broadband Communication and Robotica.
