The Doctoral course will tackle questions regarding the exegesis of literary works, with shared courses and research seminars; it will use specific seminars for each of the two specialized curricula, to handle issues that most directly involve the research subjects proposed to the students in the fields of classic and modern literature.
Regarding the wideness of the research areas in the Doctoral School, a number of interdisciplinary topics will be handled, concerning both the constitution of literary objects (the relation between writers and their respective social forms, institutions, religious and folkloristic traditions constituting macro and micro inter-texts, and different forms of communication and reception) and their exegesis.
