Research activity
The University is available to share its knowledge, competence and instrumentation, in order to respond to company needs for new technology, new studies and research, technical tests, analysis and measurements.
Research projects in collaboration
Companies and the University can carry out joint research with innovative applications, dedicated to the development of basic knowledge, also useful for industries. This can be possible also by taking part in research projects funded on a local, national or EU level.
Partnership in training new researchers
- Doctoral research and research grants
By funding a Doctoral scholarship or research grant (normally post-Doctoral), for an agreed topic and programme, it is possible to access innovative research at a rather low price.
- Master / Specialisation courses
By co-funding postgraduate studies for young researchers, companies contribute to the training of staff with specific and interesting professional competences.
- Internship
Having young researchers in internship programmes means supporting the training and guidance of new human resources.
Acquisition of University research results
The patent portfolio of the University is available to all companies interested in the results of University research for industrial or business reasons (technological transfer or licences).
Lifelong training
The University encourages and coordinates master courses and, for specific company needs, it organizes lifelong training courses in the fields of competence of its Faculties.
