We study how to measure reliably and accurately data characterizing human brain structures and functions and how to represent mind states in quantitative and statistical terms from these data to test cognitive models. Our approach is based on the development and integration of multi-modal neuroimaging (MRI, EEG, MEG, TMS) from basic physics of the various acquisition methods to the physiology of the signal sources.
Our research products are tools that can be applied by the various cognitive research groups interested in using functional neuroimaging data to test hypotheses in the healthy brain or in clinical situations.
