The Center for Mind/Brain Sciences has assembled a team of scientists from Italy and other nations, with a common goal of establishing a scientific center at the forefront of human brain research. One of the first groups of its kind in Italy, the Center is funded by the provincial government (Provincia Autonoma di Trento), public and private organizations, donations, and research grants. The success of the Center and its critical research depends on continued support through donations, which can be made either to the 5xmille fund (to the University of Trento) or directly to the Center.

Presidenza della Giunta (www.provincia.tn.it) - Assessorato alle Politiche per la Salute - Assessorato alla Programmazione e Innovazione - Azienda Provinciale per i Servizi Sanitari (APSS) The support of the provincial government enabled the acquisition of CIMeC’s 4 Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging machine (the only one in Italy), and has been crucial in building the center’s infrastructure and financing grants for our researchers. 
• The Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Trento e Rovereto (www.fondazionecaritro.it)has contributed generous support to the neurosciences through the funding of Società consortile Scienza Mente Cervello SMC(along with the University of Trento), which provides research grants, fellowships, and funds for activities designed to promote the growth of cognitive neuroscience in the Trentino area.
