Rita Capasso

I am a neuropsychologist. My main interest is the study of language disorders in brain-damaged adults. My research is focused on different types of damage to linguistic knowledge, mainly at the lexical (phonological and orthographic representations) and at the semantic level (conceptual categories). I am also interested in studiyng the nature and the organization of grammatical and morpho-synthactic knowledge. Part of my activity is also devoted to the assessement of language disorders, with a particular emphasis on the methods and techniques used during treatment programs.
