DS' Day

CIMeC Doctoral School Day
Venue:
Aula Magna of Palazzo Istruzione (C.so Bettini 84) - Garden of Palazzo Fedrigotti (C.so Bettini 31)

21st September 2012
2.30pm - 6.30pm

The objective of the initiative is two-fold: to provide to the PhD students the opportunity to present their research projects to CIMeC, enabling them to receive feedback from researchers they normally do not interact with, and to promote dialogue among researchers from the different fields represented in our School.

All PhD students will present their work during the afternoon. Six students will be selected by a committee to give 20-minute oral presentations about their research (2.30 pm-4.30 pm) in the Aula Magna of Palazzo Istruzione (C.so Bettini 84).  All the other students will present their projects on the same day (4.30 pm-6.30 pm) in a poster session in the garden of Palazzo Fedrigotti. Light refreshments will be provided during the poster session.

Both the oral and the poster presentations are evaluated by Cimec faculty during the afternoon, and 3 prizes will be awarded to the best ones.

Organizers: G. Chierchia, V. Iacovella, S. Petris, R. Sellaro, E. Vecchi, A. Wutz, V.Mazza

Best presentations: David Pascucci, Elisa Rigosi, Silvia Pagano, Eva Vecchi
