The Department Secretary’s Office deals with most departmental requests and contacts whilst the Administration Division looks after administrative and accounting issues.
Department Secretary’s Office
The Secretary’s Office intercommunicates with the teaching and administrative/technical staff in the department - tenured or temporary teachers, visiting professors, temporary administrative/technical staff, advisors – as well as dealing with enquiries from external graduate and PhD students, guests and speakers. The Office also collaborates with the administration division on non-accounting matters and maintains contact with all the other University offices and external bodies/institutions and/or persons who interact with DISA.
Administration Division
This Division is responsible for managing most aspects of DISA accounting and administration. In particular, it can purchase materials or services required by the department and deal with the processes involved in the stipulation of contracts and the allocation of grants and funding. It also makes payments for DISA and manages the department's budget.
