ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible to apply to the International School in Biomolecular Sciences candidate must possess the following entry requirements:
-a five year study University degree such as Italian laurea SPECIALISTICA (magistrale) or EQUIVALENT DEGREE qualification obtained abroad wich allows to enrol in doctoral programmes.
Applicants who have a foreign qualification that has not been officially recognized as equivalent to an Italian degree must submit a request for equivalence in their application. In this case, it is necessary to attach the following documents:
- degree certificate (EU citizens might present a self-declaration of the possession of a degree)
- translation in English of the degree certificate with exams taken and grades obtained to enable the Doctoral School Committee to consider its equivalence, for the sole purpose of being admitted to the selection
- the Diploma supplement (when available)
After the admission to the School, successful non-EU applicants who have a foreign qualification must provide the degree certificate and trasncript of records, translated and certified by both the Italian Embassy and Consulate in the country where the degree has been issued, and the respective declaration of validity (“Dichiarazione di Valore in Loco”).
SELECTION
The selection is based on:
- evaluation of titles and qualifications;
- interview (in loco or via Skype for candidates who live abroad)
The shortlist of the successful candidates admitted to the oral exam is published on this website around 20 days after the call deadline. Date and place of the oral interview are published 20 days in advance.
CALL
The call for selection is published on this website approximately in June. Deadline for application is approximately at the end of September.
