Head of the School

Head of the School is prof. Alessandro Pegoretti, full professor of Materials Science and Technologies.

The Head of the School

• co-ordinates of the School activities; he organizes the teaching programme and calls and chairs meetings of the School Council, preparing the agenda and executing the decisions taken by the Council;
• calls and chairs meetings of the Graduate School Executive Committee;
• grants permission to students to develop research activities at associated universities or at other parties involved in the Ph. D. activities, for periods shorter than six months;
• writes a detailed report to be submitted to the Evaluation Committee of the University of Trento, at the end of each academic year; the report highlights how qualification’s requirements for the Doctorate School are accomplished and maintained; it also addresses how a continuous evaluation and overall monitoring of the School’s and of Ph.D. student quality can be achieved.

Vice-Head of the School is prof. Massimo Pellizzari, associate professor of Materials Science and Technologies.
