Admission requirements

Admission to the Doctoral School is by public selection.

Application to the Doctoral School is open to students of all nationalities, who have an Italian "laurea specialistica"  or "laurea magistrale", i.e. who are graduates), a university degree according the previous Italian regulation, or equivalent degree qualification obtained abroad.

The rules for the selection procedure are reported in the Announcement of selection for the XXVIII cycle available in the section "Selection for the admission".

For the next academic year 2012/2013 17 positions are available, 14 of these will receive a scholarship. The present annual scholarship amounts to Euros 13.638,47.

A 100 Euros monthly supplement can be paid by the University of Trento as a contribution for the accomodation to Doctoral students who have a regular rent contract and who fulfil the requisites listed in  the University’s rules and regulations policy (see Accommodation contribution for Doctoral students).

An additional 100 Euros montly supplement can be provided by the Provincia Autonoma di Trento.
