Handbook of the PhD Programme

The Handbook Contains all the practical information concerning the PhD Programme. It provides much of the information that can be found on these web pages in a handy format.  To download the Handbook, click on the Download box on the right-hand side of this page. The Handbook is updated frequently, so please check this page regularly.

Regulations

The PhD programme is governed by three sets of regulations:

1. The Ministerial Decree of April 30, 1999, concerning research doctorates
2. The University Regulations for doctoral Schools
3. The Executive Regulations of the PhD Programme in International Studies

All three documents can be downloaded from the box on the right. Students are recommended to familiarize themselves with these three documents, and in particular the executive regulations of the PhD Programme in International Studies 

In addition all students should carefully read the guidelines for the final Ph.D. examination.
