Anita Lavorgna

Anita Lavorgna is a Ph.D. candidate in criminology at the School of International Studies, University of Trento (Italy). She is completing a dissertation on the relationship between traditional transit crimes and the Internet. She has been a visiting scholar at VU Amsterdam and Rutgers University, and a visiting research student at Jill Dando Institute of Security and Crime Science, University College London. Her research interests include global criminology and cybercrime, and she has published on organized crime in international journals. She has an LLM with honors from the University of Trento with a thesis that proposed a framework for evaluating public policies to prevent and combat human trafficking.
