About the Department

The Department of Sociology and Social Research gathers the cultural and research tradition in the field of social sciences that has grown around the Faculty of Sociology during the years.
The Department has a multi-disciplinary organization and is a rendezvous for scholars coming from different studies and backgrounds, who have a common interest for scientific rigour. The Department’s multidisciplinary aspect is the premise for in-depth studies of the boundary-lines between social disciplines.
