Grants and scholarships
Useful links
Scholarships are awarded each year to students, covering the tuition fees as well as part of the living expenses.
International and home students may apply for the “Opera Universitaria Scholarship”, which covers the course fee as well as some of the living expenses during the stay in Trento. Opera Universitaria Scholarships are awarded according to three criteria: the applicants academic results, their financial situation, and the availability of funds.
On these basis, students can result eligible for scholarship or pay according to the Income bracket assigned.
Please note that the scholarship is not awarded immediately at the students' arrival. Therefore it is important to know that students must bear the cost of living without the scholarship for this first three months.
Income evaluation
The income evaluation is the result of the economic condition (ICEF) of the student’s family. Income brackets range from 0 to 13.
Students who are assigned an income score lower than 5 are entitled to:
- apply to Opera Universitaria for a scholarship of max € 5.000,00/year;
- receive a scholarship and be a tuition fee waiver;
- have the right to apply for accommodation (€180,00/month for a double room and € 220,00/month for a single room in one of the facilities of the University Guild.
