For stays in Italy up to 90 days, you have to declare your presence, within 8 working days from your entrance to Schengen Area, with the following documents:

  • form of declaration of presence (see download box);
  • original of the passport and copy of stamped and written pages (no balnk ones).
The declaration of Presence must be subittet to Centro Informativo per l'Immigrazione Cinformi, in Trento, Via Zambra 11. If you need, Welcome Office can bring to Cinformi the declaration of presence for you every Wednesday. Please let us have the needed documentation by Tuesday morning.

If you live in Rovereto, the competent Authority is the Questura in Rovereto, Immigration Office in Via Sighele 1. Opening times from Mon. to Fri from 8.30 to 12.30, on Thursdays also from 3.15 to 5.30 p.m.

If you are in Italy for WORK reasons you have to apply for your stay permit through the post office, by filling in all the forms needed.
