Please contact the Welcome Office to fix an appointment upon arrival, respecting the following opening hours:
- from Monday to Thursday from 9.30 a.m. to 12.00 a.m. and from 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.
- on Fridays from 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
Check-in is necessary to receive informative material about the city, the University and administrative procedures to follow and the accommodation contract if booked in advance.
Non-EU citizens are also supported as far as the procedures related to the issuing of their stay permit through one of our student collaborators.
NOTE: the Welcome Office deals with study and study/research visa only.
- For invitations for touristic and work visa, please refer to the inviting Accademic Structure for support. NOTE: if you hold a turistic visa (or no visa) you are not entitled to receive any financial support from the University of Trento.
- Visiting professors coming within bilateral agreements, special projects or sabbatical year, even if they might already have a study visa, must report to the inviting structure. The Welcome Office will assist you only through appointment and only referring to issues related to the issuing of stay permit for study reasons.
- Family issues are dealt with by the Immigration Information Center (Cinformi). Make sure you have all complete documentation.
