Health insurance

Make sure you take to Trento your European Health Insurance Card (In Italian called "TEAM Card" ).
If you have your TEAM Card, you can contact any general practitioner. You can find their details at the Local Health Board in Trento or at this link.

You will have to ask for a “VISITA OCCASIONALE” costing € 15.00 if you go to the doctor’s, and € 25.00 if you ask the doctor to come to your home.
Remember to bring the TEAM Card with you any time you need some medical treatment.

In case you were not given the TEAM card in your home country you have to buy a private insurance and you are not allowed to enrol to the Italian National system.
