Personal Tax Code

The tax code is needed for any payment, to open a bank account, and to enrol in the National Health Service.

The Welcome Office provides international student invited within international mobility programmes with tax code upon arrival.

Besides during the last week of August and the first week of September there is a desk of Agenzia delle Entrate at the University.

Outside this period, in order to obtain the tax code you have to bring the following documents to the Agenzia delle Entrate (tax office):

• identity document;
• signed tax code application form (available at the Welcome Office or directly at the Agenzia delle Entrate).

The tax code issued by the Agenzia delle Entrate is the only one with legal validity.
