You can travel by bus in the urban area of Trento or Rovereto, buying a single bus ticket or applying for a monthly/yearly bus pass.
Tickets for urban area of Trento

Bus pass
In order to get your bus-pass badge, you have to submit to the bus station (in via Pozzo, near the railway station) the application form along with:
- a copy of your passport,
- a passport-size photograph,
- your stay permit or the postal receipts of the stay permit application, in case of first issuing,
- the copy of your old stay permit and the postal receipts of the renewal application, in case you are on renewal process.
In addition to the cost of the bus pass you have to pay EUR 4.00 for the bus pass-badge.
You have to buy single tickets until you don’t have the bus pass. A single ticket for 70 minutes costs EUR 1.00. Notice that if you buy 10 tickets together, you pay only EUR 9.00.
Important: if you have a bus pass issued after October 2007 ("Smart Card"), you have to pass it through the machine every time you start a new travel.

Extra-urban travel card
For the extra urban area (outside Trento but within the province of Trento)
There are three types of bus pass:
- ticket for a single travel
- weekly valid bus pass
- monthly valid bus pass
- yearly valid bus pass
You will pay the tickets for single travel according to the kilometric bracket of your travel

The cost of the monthly or one-year extra-urban travel cards varies according to the routes chosen and the annual one has a validity from 1st September to 31st August of the following year regardless of the date of the payment.
Enrolled students under 29 who have got their ICEF declaration concerning their income of the previous year, for the yearly bus pass will pay according to their income brackets, from a minimum of 180 euros to a maximum of EUR 300.00 per year. Enrolled students under 29 who haven’t got their ICEF declaration will pay EUR 300.00 euros per year.
Students over 29 will pay the same fee as the worker’s extra-urban pass (either yearly or monthly).
Notice that the bus pass is valid for the same travel by bus and by train as well.
