We regularly organise guided visits in town and exciting excursions in the surroundings for all Unitn international students! This can be a good chance to become familiar with Trentino Alto-Adige and to meet other international students.
IMPORTANT! Reservations are valid only upon registration/payment (not refundable) at the Welcome Office during the opening times. No e-mails of reservation will be taken into consideration. Should you not be able to take part in the excursion, please inform us within noon of the day before the trip. In case you don’t show up and pre-alert us, should you be interested in the following excursion your name will be put on the waiting list.
Ongoing visits and guided excursions
16th February - guided tour of the city of Trento
FIRST GROUP - 9.00 a.m.
You will meet our guide Ermanno next to the Neptun's Fountain in Piazza Duomo ten minutes before the beginning of the guided tour (or, in case of rain, Under Hotel Venezia's porch).
SECOND GROUP - 11.00 a.m.
You will meet our guide Ermanno next to the Neptun's Fountain in Piazza Duomo ten minutes before the beginning of the guided tour (or, in case of rain, Under Hotel Venezia's porch).
The guide is at Welcome Office's charge.

Next visits and guided excursions
Saturday, 23rd March 2013 all day long - Tour of the Dolomites - Maria Sass Pordoi Hut (2950 meters) and visit to the Fassa Ladin Museum
8. a.m.: meeting point at the Sardagna cable-station (via Montegrappa, 1, near the S. Lorenzo bridge on the river Adige)
8.15 a.m. : departure
10.00 a.m. short stop and visit to Ortisei;
11.00 a.m. travel by cable car up to Sass Pordoi, 2.950 meters high (12.20 € for the return ticket) from where you can enjoy a beautiful view on the Dolomites;
12.00 lunch at the Maria Hut where you can have self-service (around 10-15 €, according to your choice) http://tuttofassa.stepdev.org/maria.htm
The Hut is on a rocky mountain and there is few place for packet lunch, anyway it’s outdoor where it’s very cold;
2.00 p.m. departure by coach;
3.00 p.m. arrival at the Ladin Museum at Vigo di Fassa and possible visit (€ 3) - http://www.istladin.net/web/default.asp
4.30 p.m. departure from the Museum and travel to Trento through Ega Valley;
6.30 p. m. arrival to Trento (Sardagna cable-car station).
It is important you wear warm clothes (wool sweater and a jacket) and comfortable shoes. The slope in cable car is quite steep, not suitable for those who suffer from vertigo!
Transfers by bus and the guide are at Welcome Office's charge. Lunch is at your charge.
Cable car € 12.20 as well as lunch and the possible entry to the Ladin Museum are at your charge.
