Welcome Buddy

All new international students at the University of Trento have the opportunity to join the Buddy System, first by looking for a buddy and then by becoming a buddy.
The Buddy System is there to help new students establish a social and academic network as soon as they arrive at the University. This service is thought to help new students settle in to student life and study and aims to offer informal, friendly support by current students to all new students.
 

The Buddies have already studied at the University for some time and know what it is like to be a student. They are familiar with the joys and sorrows of student life here in Trento and are there to answer any questions you might have
If they don’t know the answer to a question, they will be able to point you in the right place to find help.
 

The Buddies role is to be positive about the university experience, to encourage new students and where necessary be able to direct them to the various sources of information, help and support that is available to them within the University.  Buddies do not have to personally solve issues, they just need to be able to direct new students to the available services and be a reassuring friend.
 

As you understand this is a very important service offered to new student and we need the help of all of you!
