International Agreements

University bilateral/multilateral agreements involve two or more universities deciding to become partners and define shared objectives to in fields related to student mobility, doctoral student mobility, joint research activities, or common activities such as the joint organization of seminars or conferences.

Up to now the University of Trento has signed 43 agreements with universities from all over (Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Cuba, Finland, Germany, Israel, Mozambique, Senegal, Serbia, Thailand, United States, Vietnam, New Zealand, Japan and the Philippines).

Most of these countries encourage students from the partner universities to spend a period in Trento to attend courses, take exams or search for materials to draft their thesis. Students coming to Trento in the framework of bilateral/multilateral agreements or an international project must report to the Double Degree and International projects office for all aspects of mobility.
