Erasmus Mundus Programme

Research/study opportunities at Trento University

The University of Trento participates in some Erasmusm Mundus international projects, financed by the European Commission, allowing also PhDs to spend a period of research/training at the University of Trento or, in some cases, to attend the whole PhD programme in Trento. The two projects are:

Action 1: joint programmes

For Phd students of the Doctoral School in Cognitive and Brain Sciences:

  • IDEALAB project (International Doctorate for Experimental Approaches to Language and Brain).

For Phd students of the Doctoral School in Environmental and Civil Engineering:

  • SMART project (Science for Management of Rivers and their Tidal System). The call for applications is open now (deadline 15/01/2013).

Action 2: mobility in a partner university for research/study purposes 

The active projects with mobility since 2012 are the following ones:

  • AREAS project, coordinated by the Politecnico di Torino, Italy: mobility from Asia. The call for applications is open now (deadline 15/02/2013);
  • AVERROES IV project, coordinated by Montpellier 2, France: mobility from/to Maghreb countries;
  • EWENT project,  coordinated by the Warsaw University, Polland: mobility from Bielorussia, Ucraina, Moldavia. The call for applications is open now (deadline 31/12/2012);
  • INDIA4EU II project, coordinated by the Politecnico of Torino, Italy: mobility from India. The call for applications is open now (deadline 18/02/2013);
  • MULTIC project, coordinated by the Universitaet Dresden, Germany: mobilty from/to Russia;
  •  ONE MORE STEP project, coordinated by the University of Trento: mobility from Asia. The call for applications is open now (deadline 31/01/2013).
