The Dean

Prof. Marco TubinoWho is Marco Tubino?
He was born in Genoa on 21st march 1958.
He graduated in chemical engineering at the University of Genoa in 1982, where he also achieved his Doctoral degree in hydrodynamics.
He has been Full Professor at the University of Trento since 1994. In 2000 he became the coordinator of the Doctoral school for environmental engineering.
He became Dean of the Faculty of Engineering on 1st November 2005.

The Dean’s duties
The Dean represents the Faculty and is responsible for its correct workflow. He carries out all the duties that the University Statute and the Faculty rules and regulations policy assign him.
He summons and presides the Faculty Council. He supervises the Faculty’s didactic and organizational activities, assuring that they are regularly carried out. He promotes and controls the activities that refer to the Faculty. The Dean also encourages, organizes and guarantees all the functions delegated to him by the Faculty Council. He is member of the Academic Senate.
