“Free circulation” – yearly pass for in-town and out-of-town public transport
Students regularly enrolled in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year (and 4th year in case of 4-years programmes) of a PhD programme of University of Trento, may buy the “Free circulation” annual bus pass (public transport within Trento province) at the reduced cost of € 50.
The yearly pass for the a.y. 2021-22 will be valid starting from 1st September 2022 until 31st August 2023, regardless of the date of purchase.

PhD students who, after completion of the legal duration of their programme (third or fourth year), are waiting for the final examination or are in the postponement/extension period, can benefit of reduced reduced fee on the basis of a specific agreement signed by the University and the Trentino Trasporti SpA for staff (a discount of the 30% for a one-year bus and trains pass within the Trento and Rovereto town limits).
In order to obtain this kind of pass the PhD student must provide Trentino Trasporti Ticket Offices with a self-declaration available, after login to MyUnitn, on the web page: intranet.unitn.it/infoservizi, following the path Fringe benefit, assegni, sussidi e convenzioni > Convenzioni > Convenzioni per il trasporto.
Flixbus Italia
To facilitate students to access education and training, UniTrento has signed an agreement with Flixbus Italia based on which the whole University community of students, including PhD candidates, will have the opportunity to purchase the company’s bus tickets for a discounted fee.
