A university bilateral agreement is made between two universities willing to become partners and achieve specific aims together that can refer to: student mobility, Doctoral student mobility, joint research activities, common activities such as the joint organization of seminars or conferences etc. If such agreements involve more than two university, they are called multilateral agreements.
The University of Trento has signed 31 agreements until today with universities from all over (Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Cuba, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Mexico, Mozambique, Namibia, Senegal, South Africa, Thailand, United States, New Zealand, Japan and the Philippines). Most of these countries allow students of the University of Trento to spend time abroad to study and attend courses, take exams or search for useful material for their thesis. Of the 31 agreements 20 entail a selection call for a mobility scholarship. For information about the other agreements with no grant please contact the reference office.
