LLP-Erasmus Staff Training

Within the sectorial Erasmus Programme there is a form of mobility for technical and administrative staff (non-academic). This mobility is called ‘Staff Training’ and allows interested staff to spend a training period in a higher education institution or enterprise in one of the 27 participating EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey and Croatia. The maximum stay is one week, namely 5 days of activity and 2 travel days, to be undertaken in the period from May until September 30th every year.

This type of mobility involving seminars, courses, job-shadowing etc. focuses on the transfer of skills, acquiring know-how and learning good practices abroad. To apply for any training programme grant a work plan agreed on by the University of Trento and the receiving institution or enterprise should be submitted.

The candidate must identify the host institution where the mobility is to take place and present an acceptance document from the receiving institution or enterprise to the home organization.

Staff with special needs may apply for an additional Erasmus grant. The grant for travel expenses and subsistence costs can amount to a maximum of 900 Euro. The results of the candidates selected are published every year around the beginning of March.

The UNITN LLP-Erasmus Office and the Staff Training Office coordinate and provide assistance for all phases of the programme.

The Erasmus Programme also offers non-academic UNITN staff the possibility to carry out preparatory mobility stipulated in the new inter-institutional agreements (preparatory visit) as well as the monitoring of students and doctorate candidates (monitoring visit) in a higher education institution in one of the  countries participating in the programme.
