Study/research opportunities in Third-country partner universities

Erasmus Mundus is a cooperation and mobilty programme for higher education, promoted by the European Commission in 2003 (under Decision no. 2317, 5.12.2003).

Its general aim is to encourage European education in the world. It offers scholarships funded by the European Union targeted to students from non-EU countries who wish to study in Europe and students from EU countries who wish to study outside Europe (in partner universities).

The University of Trento participates in the following EM (Action 1 and 2) European projects allowing students/university staff to spend a mobility period in a foreign partner university for research/study purposes:

Action 1: joint programmes

  • CoDe project (Joint European Master in Comparative Local Development). The call for applications is open now (deadline 20/01/2013);

  • LCT project (European Masters Programme in Language and Communication Technologies). The call for applications is open now (deadline 07/01/2013).

Action 2: mobility in a partner university for research/study purposes

The calls for mobility will be available on the project websites.

  • AVERROES project, coordinated by Monpellier2, France: mobility from/to Maghreb countries;

  • EWENT project, coordinated by the Warsaw University of Technology, Poland: mobility from/to Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova;   

  • MULTIC project, coordinated by the Technische Universität Dresden, Germany: mobility from/to Russia.
