A university bilateral agreement is an agreement made between two universities which choose to become partners and achieve specific aims together. Such aims are related to: student mobility, Doctoral student mobility, joint research activities, common activities such as the joint organization of seminars or conferences etc. If such agreements involve more than two universities they are called multilateral agreements.
Up to now the University of Trento has signed 31 agreements with universities from all over: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Cuba, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, Mozambique, Mexico, Namibia, New Zealand, Philippines, Senegal, South Africa, Thailand and the United States.
Most of these countries allow students of the University of Trento to spend time abroad to study and attend courses, take exams or search for material for their thesis. Out of 31 agreements, 20 entail a selection call for a mobility scholarship. For information about the other agreements with no grant please contact the relevant office.
