Fulbright programme

Fulbright scholarships are targeted to Italian citizens and shall be used for post-graduate specialization courses or research projects (Graduate study category), for the implementation of research projects (Research scholar category), for teaching duties in the United States (Lecturer category).

All disciplines may be involved in the programme except from clinical subjects having to do with medicine and surgery, dentistry, veterinary medicine and business administration programmes.

HOW TO APPLY
From box “Download” you can download the Brochure 2011/12 and 2012/13, with all information about the calls and all special programmes managed by the Commission for cultural exchanges between Italy and the United States, for the assignment of scholarships in graduate study, research scholar, lecturer categories and other cathegories.

For each specific category call, the Commission will publish (on the Internet) the list of documents needed in paper version and detailed instructions on how to fill in the application forms which will have to be sent online. Applications must also include the extra documentation which will have to be sent within each deadline. Applications that are not correctly filled in will not be considered.

WHO IS EXCLUDED FROM THE CALLS:

• Citizens having double Italian-American citizenship;
• Citizens living in the States for study or work reasons from the year prior to application until the end of all calls’ duration.

Participants

Graduates (old degree system or Master), PhD students or researchers in Italy, PhD who have earned their degree in Italy preferably no longer than five years before the date of the deadline.
