Working abroad provides added value from the professional point of view as it allows to experience different and innovative working methods and models, important for your professional and personal growth. A transnational working experience is currently a must to be competitive on the global labour market.
Hence the decision of the University of Trento to offer to its students and graduates several working opportunities abroad - sometimes they are allocated a grant - with the possibility of spending an internship period in a foreign company. Beneficiaries shall look autonomously the company they wish to work or, or select one among those proposed in the framework of a specific project.
The opportunities in the framework of European programmes (i.e. financed by EU grants) include the Erasmus Placement programme (targeted to students and PhDs) and the LLP-Leonardo da Vinci programme (targeted to new graduates). Please see details in the programme's web pages in the left menu.
Further internship/work and "graduate programmes" opportunities abroad are available in the same menu. Here you will find advice on how to find a host company autonomously, practical handbooks, and information about the opportunities offered by Fondazione CRUI (Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Assocamerestero) and by Fondazione Trentino Università (the latter not available in 2011).
At the beginning of 2011 candidates will find information to study/work abroad in compliance with their academic profile and interestes on the new International opportunities search engine.
