Master of Science in Physics - Admission requirements

International Calls:

In order to be admitted to the Physics Master’s Degree Course, students must be in possession of a Degree, a three-year course University Diploma or another recognised qualification obtained abroad.
Moreover, students must be in possession of at least 24 MATH/* credits, at least 54 PHYS/* credits and a total of 84 MATH/* + PHYS/* credits (or considered equivalent by the Physics Area Council).
Students in possession of foreign study qualifications and all those whose degree certificate with marks and exams not meeting the above requirements, but prompted to enrol in the Physics Master’s Degree at the University of Trento, shall undergo an information interview with a member of the Education Commission (see point 9). After an analysis of the credits owned by the students, he will set out eventual equivalences in order to attain such requirements.

All students shall also take part in a knowledge assessment interview with a commission. The outcomes of the interviews shall be communicated to the students before the course starts. Candidates possessing at least 30 MATH/* credits and 90 PHYS/* credits shall not be required to take the interview.  

Admission tests

The students holding a foreign title and a bachelor with marks and examinations which do not satisfy the requirements, but that are motivated to enroll in the Bachelor in Physics in Trento, will undergo an informative talk with a member of the Didactic Commission. According to an analysis of the student’s credits, equivalences will be established.

The result of the meeting will be communicated to the student before the beginning of the courses.
Students having 30 credits MAT/* and 90 FIS/*could be exonerated from the meeting.
