The head of the Faculty is the Dean; the Faculty is managed by the following main bodies:

- il Consiglio di Facoltà (Faculty Council)
- il Comitato paritetico per la didattica (Didactic committee)
- four Consigli di Area (Area Councils - Biotech, CS, Math, Physics)
The “Consiglio di Facoltà” (Faculty Council) is consisting of all professors, plus representatives of students and non-teaching personnel.
The “Consigli di Area” governs all the teaching-related issues for each Bachelor and Master course.
Student representatives are present in councils and committees
Gabinetto di Presidenza (Dean's Office) assist the Dean and the Councils.
Presidio didattico (Student Secretariati) support the students to fulfil administrative duties.
