Admission

 In order to approach the Master Degree in Mathematics it is necessary to hold a first level Bachelor, with a curriculum that includes, as minimal requirements, basic mathematical knowledge and competences of linear algebra and mathematical analysis. Also knowledge of the English language at level A2 is required. There will be an entry test to verify knowledge and competences at the beginning of the course.

Admission requirements

Here below you will find the guidelines employed to determine the minimums requirements to access the Master Course in Mathematics:

• Bachelor in Mathematics (class “L-35 - mathematical sciences”), granted by any Italian University. The students in possession of this title automatically are admitted it to the Master in Mathematics;
• “Related” Degrees, the study plan of whose contains at least 60 credits in MAT/*, fields agreed between the didactic structure that has emitted the bachelor of first level and the competent didactic structure of the Master in Mathematics. The students holding one of these titles are automatically admitted to the Master in Mathematics. The competent didactic structure will annually publish a directory of Master Courses that has reached such agreements with the competent didactic structure;
• Other degrees. To enroll in the Master in Mathematics the students holding a Bachelor of first level must have the following minimum requirements:

- a solid knowledge of theoretical and practical linear algebra and some of its applications;> a solid theoretical and practical knowledge of the basic instruments of mathematical analysis (limits, functions, continuities, derived, integrals) and some of its applications;
- in general terms, a deep theoretical and practical introduction to the scientific method and the logical-deductive reasoning.

The admission is subordinated to the presentation of an admission-request that will be evaluated by an appropriate commission.
