The Committee

The School avails itself of a Committee, which includes the Director of the School, two members nominated by the Rector and a representative for each Faculty.The Committee is composed of:

  • Prof. Bruno DALLAGO Academic Director
  • Prof. Corrado DIAMANTINI Vice-Director of the School and elected member
  • Prof. Giovanni PEGORETTI member nominated by the Rector
  • Prof. Giuseppe FOLLONI representative of the Faculty of Economics
  • Prof. Donata BORGONOVO RE representative of the Faculty of Law
  • Prof. Marco TUBINO representative of the Faculty of Engineering
  • Prof. Sandro COSTARELLI representative of the Faculty of Cognitive Sciences
  • Prof. Luca FAZZI representative of the Faculty of Sociology

The Committee elaborates and decides on the planning and activation of the School’s new initiatives, the three-year programme of activities for the School, the yearly teaching activities Plan.Each Faculty must consult the Committee regarding lecturers and researchers who form part of the teaching staff and who are paid by funds assigned by the Senate.The Committee, within the sphere of the School’s competencies and on proposal of the governing bodies of each teaching and research initiative, defines and ensures that teaching and scientific activities are carried out. 

A specific Committee is constituted for each initiative in order to coordinate and manage the activities that involve foreign partner institutes on the basis of conventions formally stipulated and approved by the competent academic bodies.  The Director of the School and a representative for each foreign partner institute form this Committee.

When initiatives involve foreign partners, the Committee, in defining and ensuring the completion of the activities, will act according to the stipulated agreement and coordinate following indications from the specific Committee.

The Committee approves, in agreement with at least one of the member Faculties and on proposal of at least one of the initiatives appertaining to the School, the awarding of an Honorary Master’s degree to be submitted to the Academic Senate.

The Committe can nominate an International Scientific Counsel with consultancy functions for the development of the School’s activities and for evaluation of the scientific-didactic quality of initiatives.
