The Director

The Director represents the School before the organs and the institutions of the University of Trento and also in the context of agreements with external bodies; the Director is the President of the Steering Committee, he convokes the Teaching Body, he provides the Dean and the Teaching Body with a  report concerning the activities of the School, he is responsible for the activities and the functioning of the School, as stated by this Regulation. The Director is appointed by the Dean and he is chosen among the Full Professors that are part of the Teaching Body. He remains in office for three years.

The Director appoints the examining boards for the Final Exam of the Two-Year Master’s Degree (Laurea Magistrale) and of the Phd Program in International Studies. The Graduation Diploma for the Master’s Degree has to be signed by the Dean, by the Director of the School and by the Head of the Faculty responsible for the study course.

In October 2012 Prof. Luisa Antoniolli was appointed as Director of the School of International Studies. Luisa Antoniolli is Full Professor of Comparative Private Law.

The SIS Deputy Director is Prof. Luigi Bonatti, Full Professor of Economic Policy.
