Interlibrary loan and Document Delivery (ILL / DD) - Lending

The Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Service (generally known as ILL / DD) enables other libraries to obtain materials from the libraries of the University of Trento. Most items are available for a 30 days loan period with a possible extension.

Delivery time
Requests are generally processed within 3 days.
Charges
A fee of 1/2 Ifla voucher (or 4,00 € paid in stamps) is charged for each request. Our University has special agreements for mutual exchange with some libraries. Service observes copyright legislation.

Material not available for loan

Material not available for loan:

• journals;
• reference material, such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, bibliographies amnd manuals;
• reserves for courses;
• items published before 1900;
• degree theses;
• microfilm and microfiches;
• material which requires binding or repairing; 
• any other work Libraries decide to make available for the local consultation only.
