Human Language Technology and Interfaces
Link utili
Human Language Technologies (HLT) allow us to interact with various automatic services through our voice; for instance in booking a trip, in automatically translating an information request or a document and especially, in organizing an enormous amount of written and spoken information that we can access through the World Wide Web.
The great progress achieved in HLT areas, such as the automatic extraction of information and the automatic creation of summaries, is opening the way for many interesting applications.
This Master aims at passing on basic HLT competences and abilities for the development of advanced man-computer interfaces. The courses are held by international experts who come from universities, research centres and leader companies in the area. Students have the chance to work on projects in laboratories or in companies thus, making the knowledge acquired during the Master concrete.
Didactics
The Master is organised in three different periods:
• A period for traditional lessons on the theories and techniques related to Language technologies;
• A period in which students will carry out an internship in a company or in the Master’s labs;
