The School of International Studies offers an Integrated Graduate Program in International Studies and Transnational Governance in cooperation with the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa (Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Studi Universitari e Perfezionamento). The program is integrated within the Laurea Magistrale in European and International Studies offered by the School of International Studies.
The new program is offered to a limited number of students registered with the Master’s Degree in European and International Studies and having a special interest in topics related to transnational governance as well as having demonstrated high academic performance.
The innovative Integrated Graduate Program in International Studies and Transnational Governance distinctively combines:
- a strong core of interdisciplinary teaching with an emphasis on international relations, global politics, European affairs and sub-national institutions;
- a broader interdisciplinary curriculum building analytical and research skills;
- an interactive learning formula;
- a lively international learning community of tenured resident faculty, academics, practitioners;
- scientific supervision and counselling coaching students’ vocational needs.
Students will have the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at partner institutions in Latin America, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East.
At the end of the Integrated Graduate Program in International Studies and Transnational Governance, students will receive both the Master’s diploma in European and International Studies from the School of International Studies in Trento and the Graduate Diploma in Transnational Governance from the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Studi Universitari e Perfezionamento in Pisa.
