Paper Submission and Conference Proceedings

NEWS: Due to numerous requests, the deadline for paper submission has ben extended to September 13th, 2010.

Name, institution and a valid e-mail address will be requested by the system to issue a personal identification code (PIC) needed to upload the abstract. You can apply for a PIC here. You will receive an automated email with a copy of your PIC, a copy of the official MS-Word template and a direct link to the abstract submission page. Only abstracts submitted with the official MS-Word template will be considered. Shortly after abstract submission you will receive an acknowledgement of abstract acceptance by e-mail.

The PIC will also be used in conference registration. If you want to participate in the conference, please remember to also complete the registration/payment form. Abstract submission is not mandatory for conference participation. If you need a PIC, please apply here.

In case of problems with this procedure, abstract and communications can be sent by e-mail to ecrs8@ing.unitn.it; for quicker identification, always remember to include you PIC.

Abstracts of registered authors received before the deadline of May 9, 2010 will be considered by the scientific committee for the Oral / Poster sessions and will be included in the booklet of Abstracts available at the conference. Abstracts submitted from May 9 to June 15 will be considered for poster presentation. Late abstracts may be accepted by the scientific committee; due to the strict timing, there is however no guarantee that abstract submitted after June 15, 2010 will be included in the booklet of Abstracts.

Authors of all accepted contributions will be invited to submit a paper for the proceedings, to be published in Materials Science Forum (Trans Tech Publications Ltd), as a special issue dedicated to ECRS-8. This journal is available in full text online at www.scientific.net.
The submitted paper should not exceed the maximum of 6 pages camera ready. Deadline for paper submission is September 13th, 2010.
